This is a video about using the cloning tool to remove unwanted items from photos and doing spot coloring; Leaving 1 or 2 items in color while turning the rest of it B & W or sepia. I do mine in SBC and that is where I will be demonstrating.
I am a Senior Independent Sales Consultant with Creative Memories and hope to share what I have learned as a consultant with others whether you are are a traditional or digital scrapbooker. Hi Tammy-
ReplyDeleteI have a question regarding the spot coloring technique. There was a little delay in the video, so I didn't quite see what you were doing. After you "cut" the dog's eyes and made the rest of the picture sepia and brought the eyes back in, you grouped something. Did you just group the two eyes or did you group the eyes with the picture?
Thanks so much! This was a very helpful tutorial!

Thank you Melinda, I grouped the 2 eyes and the entire photo back together. Sorry about the delay, it's hard to know when you are recording how fast or slow to go to sync with the screen.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you gound it helpful!
Tammy
Hi Tammy, I've done the same thing with a sepia photo and blue eyes but instead of cutting around the shaded area, I copied the shaded area. It just seems to be quicker that way.
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the information, I have seen it done that way but I guess I just prefer cutting, not sure why? I should have put that in the video, maybe I can add one later. May I ask what is faster about it, does it copy faster than it cut's or what exactly is it? Maybe I will try it out myself later.
Enjoy your day!
Tammy
