My Valentine - Template with Freebies made for the Sending Love collection

Below is a link to a page I made using the Sending Love collection, however you could use it with anything.  The words and hearts are freebies made by me.
To make the page I used paper 26 from the Black and White collection, then used the Threshold filter to change the black edges to match my other papers.  (If you are unfamiliar with how to do this please watch my video posted on December 8th about using the Threshold and 3D filters.)  I then chose the paper I wanted to use on the left with the shaped edge and chose "Add to Page."  I then went to the cut and fill tab and under "Straight" I chose the shaped edge.  Choose the decorative edge then play with the sliders until you get the look you want.  I added the 3D filter a few times to it after cutting, but that was my personal preference.  The ribbons are from the Black & White Collection, the bottom one is ribbon 8, I left it as it was.  I then chose ribbon 6 and used the Threshold filter on it, the inside color matching the paper, and the outside edges black.  Don't forget to use your slider if the two colors don't show up.  I copied and pasted it and put the two of them side by side on top of the white ribbon.  Under the insert tab I chose add a frame and I right clicked and unlocked the aspect ratio and adjusted until I got the size I needed.  I copied and pasted it until I had all of them, then went to Arrangement, then Alignment to get them perfectly straight.  I went to the Format Photos tab and used the mat tool to mat the frames. I had to leave them with just a color in the template, however on the page you will notice I used paper to fill it, the same as I used on the left.  I then added heavy shadow to most of the elements on the page.
This is a 12x12 page and must be put into a 12x12 storybook.  You can shrink it later to something with the same aspect ratio if you like.
If you have any questions please feel free to e-mail me at tgillespie67@aol.com, (if you e-mail me from my profile, I'm having trouble with my windows mail and will not get it.)   I would love to hear any comments you might have about this page for future reference when I am making templates.
Please visit my website at www.mycmsite.com/tammygillespie or my Facebook group, Tamela's Scrapbooking Divas.  I have lot's of examples of work there if you want to see them.
Ok, enjoy the template and have a great weekend!
